MONETARY DONATIONS

The best way to support our mission is with a monetary contribution to our Givebutter page. You can donate via cards, checking, venmo/paypal, cashapp, or even a DAF like Fidelity or Vanguard. Additionally, if you work for an organization who partners with Benevity, Deed, or the PayPal Giving Fund (facebook fundraisers and livestreamers take note!), we are set up on all of those.

ITEM DONATIONS

As a museum, we are a keeper of many things. If your things need a new home where they can live on and someone will care for/about them, Bloop would love to be that place. We are generally interested in the following categories:

  • Computers and all associated hardware, software, boxes, books, accessories, and ephemera. Even new computers can become workstations for volunteers to do work on.
  • Games: If it is of or pertaining to an electronic game - computer games, videogame, stand-alone, handheld, whatever.
  • Gadgets: Calculators, GPS, Media Players, Organizers, Phones, if it's electronic and does something neat...
  • Media formats: Interesting or old audio/video formats, Beta tapes, laserdiscs, minidiscs, interesting cassettes...
...and anything related to those things! Basically, keep in mind our "If it goes bleep-bloop, it's in the Bloop Museum!" slogan. If the item isn't complete, that's fine - we might have an incomplete something-or-other that your stuff completes!
